Dovish comments from the MPC"s Barker plus month-end demand for EUR/GBP is helping givethe pound a push lower late in the London session. Asian bids are rumored in the1.7975/80 area but US real money accounts have been seen selling at the lows. EUR/JPYhas eased back to the 136.40/45 area after US crude oil inventories rose unexpectedly least week. Nymex futures are down $0.70 on the day at $49.20 aftertrading back above $50 earlier in the day. Stops are seen in the 136.25 area in EUR/JPY, dealers note.
