[12:00 EUR/USD: Continuing The Slide, On Weak Economy, Bund Selling] New York,
July 30: More weak economic data out of Europe coupled with brighter prospects
for the US economy are driving EUR/USD to its lowest level in a week at 1.1410.
German plant and machinery orders fell 9% y/y (exports down 13% y/y), and GfK"s
consumer confidence rose only marginally to 4.5. Spain cut its 2003 GDP forecast
to 2.5% and French business confidence rose only a point to 91. Greek FinMin
Christodoulakis said that weakening the Stability Pact would lead to higher
rates in Europe. ECB member Quaden weighed in on rates saying the prospects on
no rate cut at tomorrow"s ECB meeting was "rational". Traders are also talking
of a summer trading theme in fixed income, with accounts selling Bunds and
buying US Treasuries ahead of today"s refunding. The Dollar has taken on a new
shine after the failed selloff and reversal yesterday and spec accounts now look
to be pushing on the market"s path of least resistance. It all adds up to
EUR/USD weakness, though the progress of the slide has been slow and a fall to
channel and Fibo support at 1.1380/85 seems likely. --

Bih iskal da vi popitam 2 ne6ta otnosno knigi za forez - 1. Tazi kniga na Tony Palmer kude moga da si q namerq i 2. Naskoro pusnaha edna kniga "Jiveq v Bulgaria, pe4elq v New YorK" na Gruev i Krustev. Nqkoi da q e 4el? Imate li nqkakvo mnenie za neq? Ima li smisul da si q kupuvam?

The technical outlook for USD/CHF points to a test of 1.3660, daily high July
21, in the near term with hourly support seen at 1.3470. The daily charts for
EUR/CHF shows good technical support at 1.5430, 38.2% of 1.5310 - 1.5505, with
resistance at 1.5530, failure tops. --

[10:44 EUR/USD: Lacking Direction Through Europe] London, Jul 30: Talk of a
large sell order out of the UK, worked in bits and pieces from the 1.1440-45
Asian top and through early Europe. Thin market conditions amplifying the drop
to 1.1425-28 with just a few large players dipping their toes into the price
action pool. Plenty of data releases to take on board, including German and UK
confidence numbers and French industrial sentiment, all showing an improvement.
No data due from the US, the market having to look ahead to the Thursday/Friday
data fest. Claims, Chicago PMI, Q2 GDP, payrolls, Michigan sentiment and
manufacturing ISM. For [EUR/USD] through the New York morning look for the
1.1425, repeated intraday lows, to stall the USD"s gains and for 1.1450-55 to
stall if not contain bounces. --
